Description –
The Coolus Buggenum helmet was a cavalry helmet during the Roman era. One of the original artifacts was found in the River Waal, and that connects this helmet to the Coolus Mannheim’s helmet. The rim of the helmet is folded on the inside to prevent any roughness. The helmet has simple cheek guards and a plume holder. A single belt-to-buckle attachment as a chin strap was given to the helmet to keep it firmly on the head of the cavalrymen.
The replica of the Coolus Buggenum Helmet is made from 1.2 mm thick brass sheets, while the plume holder of the helmet is made in pure sand-cast brass.

– Historical accuracy could be improved with a hollow crest know with a hole ontop and another riveted loop for the chin strap on the neck guard.
