Description –
The archaic Illyrian helmet was found in the early Greek era. Our replica is inspired by the artefact displayed in Nicolo Melissa Antiques in New York, USA. The Illyrian helmet, as the name suggests, was found in Illyria, Greece. These helmets have an open face design and a modest neck protector. Unlike most helmets, the early helmets did not have a rolled or folded edge. This feature makes the helmets more functional and easier to construct.

Some specifications of the product –

The archaic Illyrian helmet is made from 1.2mm thick sheet metal. The bowl of the helmet is made by welding two halves, while the cheeks and the neck guard are later welded to the bowl. Two parallel ridges are hammered out in the bowl, they run front to back along the center of the bowl. The archaic Illyrian helmet is completely handmade.
