    Celtic Torc I

    The Celtic Torc I is one of the many designs that were used during the high to mid-Celtic era. The people of the land wore strong and bold jewelry to show their power and strength. The pagan culture extensively used animal figures in their jewelry as a symbol of life and death. In this particular design, there are two beads right in the center of the torc while the entire torc has an engraved design.

    Engraved Waist Bag is an accessory product for the reenactors and enthusiasts. Historically, it was a utility product that was used by the military forces and other officials to carry small items like documents, currency, etc. Therefore, the bag was also known as a coin bag. The size of the bag is large in comparison to coin bags across various timelines, but currency was an important item. The bag was worn on either side of the waistbelt buckle for ease of access. The belt passes through a fixed loop at the back of the bag.

    Description – 
    The Neck Ring was a part of the lifestyle of Celtic people, and it carried forward to the Romans. They were predominantly used by the Celts, but historical evidences show that they were used in the Iron Age as well. There were many designs of such neck rings, ranging from simpler to intricately detailed knobs. In combination to a neck piece, people wore these on their arms (biceps) as well as wrists.

    Description – 
    Torc with Ram’s heads is a Greek and Celtic era period lifestyle item used as a piece of jewelry by men, women, and children. Torcs are believed to have been used between the 7th century BC and the 3rd century AD. Torcs were worn for various discussed reasons, i.e. jewelry, totems/rituals, and gallantry. Both ends of any torc are terminated in animal heads or geometric shapes. Torcs were generally made by twisting thin wires into circular necklace-like shapes and are heavier than usual jewelry. They were made out of precious metals like gold, silver, and bronze.

    Description – 
    The Villanovan Shield is a great museum replica made by our team using hand tools and some machinery. The shield belongs to the Etruscan Era of the 6th century. Given the size of the shield and the rarity of metal shields in the archaeological world, it can be assumed that the shield was primarily used for rituals. The embossing design on this shield (and other historical examples from that period) shows cultural symbols like figurines and other ritualistic shapes. In today’s context, the shield can be used as a great home decor element.
