The replica of the Squamata with Clasping Plates is a special design with embossed clasping plates. The plates are also made of brass sheet metal and are embossed with symbolic figures from the Roman period. The scale armor is stitched in one piece and is tied on one side only using leather thongs. The scales armor was often used by the Roman army generals and other high-ranking officers of the army.

The replica of the Squamata with Clasping Plates is made of pure brass sheet metal in 24 gauge thickness. The scales are joined using mild steel wire and the entire armor is stitched on a canvas cloth. The edges of the armor are lined with natural goat leather for protection.
