Description –
The VI century Greek greaves have a special design using embossed ridges that form spirals on either side of the legs. Another interesting feature of the greaves is the embossed star shape on the knee profile. The knee profile is slightly embossed to give room to the patella. The embossed grooves give more strength to the overall construct of these greaves. The internal layer of padding provides optimum comfort. The Greaves are parts of the armor that protect the shin bone, also known as the Tibia.

Some specifications of the product –

The VI Century Reenactment Greek Greaves is made of 1mm thick sheet metal and is padded with foam and leather on the inside. They have foam-based padding on the inside, covered with thin goat leather. The VI Century Reenactment Greek Greaves does not come with a leather edging around the rim. The padding and the leather edging also provide a good fitting for the greaves as they snuggly stick to the user’s legs. There are no rings attached to the pair, people use thongs/laces for these greaves.
