  • Brass anatomical greaves replica pair made in brass and suitable item for a greek reenactor

Simple anatomical greaves | Reenactment greaves

    Rated 5.00 out of 5
    $180.00 – $250.00Price range: $180.00 through $250.00

The Simple anatomical greaves are an important part of protective gear for the Greek hoplites. The hoplite shields protected the torso but exposed the legs; therefore, a protective layer was important. The plain anatomical greaves are designed to follow the natural contours of human legs. The curvature of the knee, the shape of the calf muscles, and the curvature at the ankles are soft on the human anatomy. Although the shape of the greaves fits perfectly on a human’s legs; we still provide leather belts for fastening. Many decorative greaves are found in archaeological excavations; our model is simple and utilitarian.

    Small Buckler

    $35.00

    Small Buckler

Small Buckler is a shield used in hand-to-hand combat with an arming sword. It is a defensive piece of equipment but can also be used as a weapon. Bucklers were mainly used during the medieval/renaissance period but the first appearance of the bucklers was seen in an extant-armed combat manual from the year 1300. The buckler was poor defense equipment when it came to missile weapons like arrows or spears but it was a good companion weapon for close-quarter combat situations.

  • Templar great helm is a reenactment helmet for medieval era enthusiasts

Templar Great Helm | Medieval Crusader Helmet

    $95.00 – $175.00Price range: $95.00 through $175.00

    Key Points –
    – Handcrafted in sheet metal

    – 3mm thick vegetable-tanned leather chinstrap
    – Brass D-shape buckle
    – Black paint on the inside

    Description –
The Great Helm Templar was designed as an evolved form of the bucket/barrel-shaped Great Helm and is widely known as the Templar. The predecessor of this helmet was highly vulnerable to direct head blows. Although the rim of the helmet was strong, the flat top was weak, and hence, in this design, the tilted head plate reduced the risk of fatal injuries or death. The overall design and décor elements remained intact but the eye slits were elongated to increase the field of vision. This shape also fits better on the head of the knight because of a tapering top that follows the curve of the human skull.

  • Sale! Xiphos Sword greek reenactment sword from the house of historical replicas greek reenactment sword from the house of historical replicas

Xiphos Sword | Greek Reenactment Sword

    Rated 4.80 out of 5
$180.00 Original price was: $180.00.$150.00Current price is: $150.00.

    Gross length – 70 cm
    Blade length – 54 cm
The gross weight of the sword – 1.98 pounds

The Xiphos Sword was one of the most prominently used weapons by the Greek hoplites. The Xiphos is a short sword, two-edged, and has a leaf-shaped blade. The historical references of this sword are seen on Greek pottery remains and other imagery. It is evident from the historical findings that the hilt of the sword was made of organic material while the cross-guard was made of iron. There is some debate that the original blade of the sword might also be made of bronze like other historical Greek weapons but the use of steel is more relevant. Our replica of the Xiphos sword has a wooden pommel and handle while the cross guard is made of steel.
